The Jurassic franchise began with Michael Crichton’s book about cloned dinosaurs escaping in a theme park. Steven Spielberg turned the best selling book into the 1993 blockbuster movie. There have been 5 Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies, the most recent of which was released in 2018. To date, the Jurassic franchise has grossed over $8 billion in ticket sales alone. The 6th Jurassic movie will be released in 2021, ensuring long legs for the franchise.
Like the blockbuster movie, the Jurassic Park pinball experience generates heart pounding excitement as the player progresses through the game. As the game starts, the player is transported to Isla Nublar, an amusement park where escaped dinosaurs are running amok! The player’s mission is to rescue park staff and recapture dinosaurs from the chaotic environment unleashed by Dennis Nedry’s computer virus. All dinosaurs, however, are not created equal as players will battle Raptors and the mighty T. Rex! The game immerses players in the fun world of battling dinosaurs in an action-packed adventure filled with twists and turns.
Our Jurassic Park game is brought to you by Keith Elwin, the award winning designer of Iron Maiden. He is considered by many to be the world’s best competitive pinball player. After joining Stern a few years ago, Keith continue to have some pinballs in street operation. He understands FUN for the great and the casual player. The Jurassic Park player’s goal is to capture escaped dinosaurs and rescue park staff. Keith uses mechanical devices and gameplay rules to create the chaos of Jurassic Park. The play action is enhanced with the John Williams Jurassic music and rendered video game quality LCD graphics.

A truly dynamic hand drawn art package was created for each version by new pinball artist Johnny Bergeron AKA Johnny Crap. His art can be seen on skate and snowboards, hot rods, Nike gym shoes, and rock ‘n roll covers and posters for Anthrax, Slayer, Pantera and others.
