Stern Pinball Inc. has released info regarding their newest game; Family Guy based on the TV-series. Here are some of the specifications: Most of the speech in Family Guy will be in English, with some narrative in local languages as in the past. The Family Guy television show is very edgy. As we have done with some past games, Family Guy will have speech adjustable between Adult, Moderate and Family levels. Alternative decals are also provided with each game, allowing operators to make such adjustments as changing the beer can from Ale to Root Beer. Games will be shipped in Adult mode. Family Guy has plenty of other game features and devices. It has a 4 target drop target bank, a single target drop target, captive "Newton" balls to hit, up post between the flippers, upper flipper on left side, stand up targets, spinning target, ramps, beer can to shoot at, television show characters, and bright "pinball" art. Located in the back right corner of the game, this upper playfield is placed behind a motorized TV show character, Stewie, who turns to taunt the pinball player. Stewie's small playfield is not played by shooting the game ball onto this upper playfield like you have seen time and time again. It is played with a small ball, hit by its small flippers up its small ramps and smashing its small stand up targets. It is complete with game rules. Think of Family Guy as a pinball machine within a pinball machine. |
